This stop motion film is adorable with adorable clothes and an adorable song which pretty much sums up how I am feeling right now. Sometimes consumerism gets a hold of me and I have to step back and just enjoy nature. This season really puts me in that mood more often than any other time of the year….already thinking about the holidays and thinking about fall wardrobes. But the weather also reminds me to enjoy what God made for us and nature at its finest. I am definitely not ready for spring. Weather down here has just begun to show a few signs of fall and it thrills me. Even though spring is far from us, I decided to show you a few SS 2011 runway looks that caught my attention….some good and some just crazy.

Mary Katrantzou 2011 would have to be more on the weird side. I am not sure how I feel about this look. I think it is way too literal but it is new and creative. I have never seen anything like it….lamps for skirts….

and candle chandeliers for necklaces!

Sass & Bide 2011 collection caught my eye but was a little more wearable then the line above.

I love the crazy necklaces!! It could be worn as a scarf for now.

I am a little inspired.

Yesterday was our September Breakfast Hat Club. Not many people participated but we still had a great time and received many stares because of our big hair pieces.

Since there were so few of us we decided to make a quick trip to the newly opened Forever 21. I spent money that I shouldn’t have but I walked away with many new items!

All I can say is WOW about the pieces below! I am on my way out to a rehearsal dinner and bachelorette party and then on to a wedding tomorrow so I decided this was a proper time to show you these garments. They are breathtaking. I would love the first two dresses for my rehearsal dinner and other wedding parties (when that time comes). They are simple gorgeous.

But what really took my breath away were these elegantly beautifully draped lace pant rompers below!!!! I seriously think this is my dream outfit. I would maybe trade in the dresses above for the ivory lace romper below.

HAPPY FALL

My favorite season is officially here even though it may not feel like it. There is a hint of a breeze in the air that gives me a little hope for cooler weather. I decided to celebrate this weather with a few of my key fall pieces even though the hotness has not let up. So I put on my vintage fir collar and vintage brown clogs (minus the long socks) hoping that mother nature would feel bad for me and would change soon.

I even cut my bangs for this season and added on my vintage acorn earrings I acquired in Venice.
