I’m late stumbling upon these Anthropologie videos showcasing their Fall 2011 shoe line. The films are adorable much like their models and shoes. I am loving the heeled color blocked lovelies! Mental note taken of these for this upcoming season. Watch the videos…promise you will love them!

I wish I could wear this amazing vintage find every day!! I love, love, love it….so sparkly and eye catching, yet still has a bohemian feel. It can also be worn as a dress, which I shall do very soon!

Oh how I miss Los Angeles thrifting and flea markets! I think a visit is in order or maybe, just maybe, I can find equally stunning vintage finds during my visit to NYC next month…fingers crossed. Until then, I will wear this dazzler at least once a week..perhaps twice..ha.

I usually get super excited for Target’s “for Target’ lines but Missoni for Target, which comes out September 13th, doesn’t quite catch my eye. I have something about printed clothing being made of high quality fabric. If the prints are not done properly, I feel like I’m mimicking a young girl’s wardrobe…maybe I am just a critical person of prints.

Although the clothing didn’t quite tickle my fancy, I can definitely settle on some of the home decor from the line. These are a few of my favorites….

I think I need a new bike, mugs and rugs for my new place! And I think I will have wait to see the fabrics in person to judge my likeness for these pants, swimsuit and poncho.

Wow! I have been gone for a while. The last few days of Los Angeles were busy, busy with assisting shoots and fittings while also trying to pack my car full of all my belongings…stressful but fun. The 25hr drive across the desert also ate up my energy but now I am back in humid Louisiana moving into a new place and trying to get settled in. I am ready to start designing and sewing and focusing on the list of things I wasn’t able to while I was away…including this blog.

I am dedicating this post to “down looks”. Sometimes it’s so much easier to look down in some of these photos than to look straight into the camera and give a little smile…maybe I’m a little camera shy. I have always felt a little awkward modeling in front of a camera…hence tons of past photos of me with silly faces…but I am getting tired of seeing myself glancing down at nothing. I will put this on my long list of things to work on. But for now here is the “denim down look” post ha.

Once I purchased this denim button down, I wore it day after day. It’s getting a little harder to wear in this humid heat but I decided that these lace shorts needed a little denim to dress it down.
