These past few weeks have been busy busy filled with birthday celebrations, local events, and holidays. It’s becoming somewhat of a blur…not sure when each event took place because there were so many in a short span of time. Below are a few highlights of those fun times that occurred in October/Early November.
This was a last minute affair so my outfit was rushed but loved it in the end. It is actually the top of a vintage wedding two-piece gown that I pinned to fit. I’m not sure if I want to sell it now ha.
Blackpot Festival & Cookoff showcases south Louisiana musicians, artists and southern food. It’s a weekend filled with live performances, an old fashioned black pot cook-off, an accordion contest, called square dancing and camping! I don’t believe there is a better way to spend your Halloween weekend in South Louisiana than celebrating the cajun culture and appreciating the outdoors.
Ahhh! Seriously, this year has flown by. I can not believe that Thanksgiving is in two days!
