I said this post would be coming on Wednesday and I would be a little better with keeping up with the blog but of course I was super busy and other things got in the way. But better late than never, right? So here it is. This craft is for all of you Mardi Gras celebrators…those of you who stand out in the gross Louisiana humid rain to scream and shout for gaudy beads that once you catch you aren’t sure what to do with.
Pick out the less gaudy beads from your massive pile (preferably all one color) and get a little thread needle and a few of your favorite brooches.
Step 1: Double up your beads so they don’t fall to long but still fit over your head. Try to keep your beads at similar lengths with a little variety.
Step 2: Tie the strands together with your needle and thread knotting ever so often.
Step 3: Add your brooches over the threaded area in a nice arrangement.
Voila, your beads are being put to good use.
Have a fun and safe weekend!
