We had a great time welcoming in the year 2011…great friends, great dancing and good food. Our fabulous time happened at this crazy party that has become our New Years Eve tradition. The house it packed full with friends from our home town and those visiting for the holidays…like so crazy full that it is super hard to walk around. This year a new addition was added to the party…a photobooth!! (Thanks to Denny)

I’m working on my resolutions…fine tuning them so they are actually achievable. How was your New Years?!

Well the magical snow never came and our last outside photo shoot couldn’t happen because of the wind. The “snow” that did come was mostly tiny bits of hail not even enough to take pictures of… weathermen should be more careful to forecast such a fun thing to happen around here… poor children who were let down. ha. Hopefully we will have another chance out here in Lafayette. 

Crafts and holiday parties continued on without the snow. It was a “Yule Tide Masquerade Ball” benefitting our local colleges performing arts department. We decided to make our own individualized masks…
