Our end of the semester holiday party was last night where we had to present our dresses designed my each of us. So that is my excuse for my no show yesterday. I am very excited with how my dress turned out and will show some photos soon. For now..more photos of the Big Apple.

The massive graveyards astonished me…beautiful and enormous.

This adorable bookstore/toy store/ cup cake haven in SOHO made me a happy camper. We bounced in to relax in the heated atmosphere while enjoying hot apple cider and beautifully decorated mini cupcakes.

On one of our many shopping days we stopped by a Christmas market which had tons of little items…a few I purchased as holiday gifts so I can’t show them. Stopping at this Union Square market is a must if you are making a trip to NYC soon.

We stayed in Brooklyn so the Metro week pass was a money saver and brought character to the trip… with sleeping passengers, smelly passengers and performing passengers.

I purchased a new jacket while I was there bc my old one would not fit in my overstuffed luggage…

We found this hopping restaurant along our route in Brooklyn that we stopped by several times in our 4 days visit. Enids food is amazing along with its colorful paper decorations. We were sad to learn that we were going to miss their handmade decoration craft night by one week. Missing Etsy’s handmade craft night by a day added to the sadness.

If you venture to this location, you must try the Ranchero brunch….uhmazezing

Our two time attempt to dine at Heath Ledger’s restaurant, Five Leaves, was a no go bc of the long wait.

I have packages to deliver and another dress to sew before Friday. Christmas is approaching fast so get your vintage goodies soon so they can arrive on time!

My hiatus is due to finishing up a pretty dress and a quick trip to the city that never sleeps. NYC was cold and beautiful. We started off our weekend with a trip to Time Square and Radio City Music Hall to watch the best show I have ever seen….the Rockettes! We were lucky enough to find front row tickets for a reasonable price. If you aren’t already in the Holiday mood these little dancers will have you in it before you leave.

Yes, pumpkin spiced latte played a major role in our chilly but snowless weekend.

A small girl’s Christmas choir started off the evening at Radio City.

Seeing the Rockettes made me want to enroll in dancing courses immediately..I played sports and drums as a child instead of taking dancing…boo.

We were very front row..our feet touched the stage!

The night ended with a trip to Rockefeller Center to view the huge Christmas tree. I have tons more photos of our weekend getaway but I have to finish up my gorgeous gown for tomorrow night’s party. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
