Last Day of 2009

December 31st, 2009

Have a happy and safe last day of 2009. I will be spending my time sewing and hanging with those I care about most. Maybe catching a few parties, drinking a little champagne, and trying to stay safe. My father is known as the reckless one especially around firecrackers. Roman candle fights are a new years tradition. This is not recommended. Last year a table full of fire toys were accidentally set a flamed. When I was a little tot a firecracker flew above my head and burned a little of my hair. So please pray for me.

Goodbye 2009 and hello new year with new dreams coming true!!

Goodbye 2009

December 31st, 2009

Sorry my updates have been far and few in between lately. Twila’s Vintage was officially launched last week and we were taking care of all of the glitches. Planning for Europe and sewing dresses have also been taking up a lot of my time.

I can not believe the year is almost over already. I still am in shock that Christmas is over. I guess its because I have been planning for Europe so didn’t have much time to focus on the holidays this year. Christmas was still great and I am super excited about Europe. Still looking around for long leather gloves to wear with my 3/4 sleeve coat. Ahh ha I need to take a breather.

This year has been very productive for me. I took a step in the right direction by discontinuing my dislikes and focusing on my likes in life! I am no longer doing this…

Twila’s Vintage is now open so check out twilasvintageclothing.com. I will be back with my new years resolutions soon. I am thinking long and hard before I make commitments.

Here is a little New Years outfit I want to wear!! Ha I might borrow it… onesie

I wanted to make a dress but won’t have enough time because I am in the process of making a Mardi Gras gown for a friend.

Dreaming of New Year’s glitter and champagne… (and coffee at a Paris cafe!!),
